FALLETTA, Eduarda (Dina) (nee Capitano) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a great mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother at St. Peter’s Residence Chedoke on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Angelo (1982) of 35 years. Survived by children Josephine (Charles) Terrana, Nicholas (Aileen) Falletta, and Maria (Sergio) Della Fortuna. Grandmother to Franca (Faisal) Khawaja, Dina (Kevin) Chrysler, Lisa (Ben) Attwood, Amanda Flis, Leah (Dave) Young, Derek (Laura) Falletta, Angelo Guevara, Luke Guevara. Step-grandmother to Frank (Michelle) Della Fortuna, Robert (Katie) Della Fortuna, and John (Delaney) Della Fortuna. Great-grandmother to 11 and step-great-grandmother to 7. Dina was most happy being in her own home making dinners and having her family visit. She enjoyed her garden and took pride in her home. Dina and her husband Angelo immigrated to Canada with their 3 children and worked very hard making a life for all of them. We would like to thank the Garland staff at St. Peter’s Residence Chedoke for all of their help and understanding in caring for Dina. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East, (near James Street North) on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church, 19 Barton Street West on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington. If so desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
