EDWIN KENNETH (“TED”) GIRVAN March 6, 1937 – December 27, 2016 Ted died peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital after a short illness, with Ann, his wife and companion of 51 years, by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Ed and Kay and his brother Bill. Ted leaves behind his niece and nephew Natalie and Bruce to mourn him. After retiring, Ted enjoyed golf, collecting and listening to classical records and winters in Sarasota. He will be sadly missed by his Shell Canada coworkers and dealers, as well as his many friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be at the Brampton Memorial Chapel & Visitation Centre, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd. (at Bovaird), 905-460-9155, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Private interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted’s memory may be made to your favourite charity .
