FLOWERS, Eldon Harold Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Extendicare Peterborough in his 94th year. A WWII Navy Veteran and longtime crossing guard of 15 years to St. Anne’s Catholic Elementary School and Kingswood Public Elementary School in Brampton. Eldon, devoted husband of the late Gwendoline Winifred Flowers. Loving father of Beverly Soulliere (Brian) and Marilyn Katz (Lowa). Cherished grandfather of Tracy Romanelli (Gian), Michelle O’Donovan (Barry), Tom Winstone (Florence), Debbie McLeod (Jim), Kim Kotzeff (Alex) and Joseph Katz. Beloved great-grandfather of Kristin, James, Anthony, Riley, Tom Jr., Ashley, Sandor and Max and many great-great-grandchildren. A small private family graveside service will be organized through Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens, 2551 Whittington Drive, Cavan, Ontario, on Wednesday, July 19th at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Eldon, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated.
