GAINEY, Elizabeth (Betty) September 15, 1951 – September 12, 2017 She is survived by her adoring husband of 38 years Michael Gainey and 2 children Ricki-Anne and James. Always a loving grandmother to Adrian, Stephanie, Douglas, Brendan, Curtis and Gavin. Fondly remembered by her surviving siblings, John, Shirley, Geraldine and nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friend Lauretta. All are welcome to celebrate her life at Pine Hills Cemetery (Toronto) on October 7th, 1-3 p.m. A gathering will follow at Legion Branch 10 (Pape and O’Connor). In lieu of flowers, donation cards will be available at service. A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church (Barrie) on November 18th at 11 a.m.
