ELLEN CRAINEY MUNROE KELLY (nee NICKELL) It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ellen Kelly, with family by her side, on Friday, July 8, 2016 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Norman Munroe (deceased) for 47 years. Loving mother to Carol, Norman and Jennifer, Randal and Tammy and Suzanne. Nana will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Later in life Ellen met and married George Kelly (deceased). She became a loving step-mother to Bruce, Lynn and Ned, Scott and Jen and their extended families. Ellen is survived by her sister Sandra Calder of Toronto. Ellen returned to school as a mature student and earned a BA in Classical Studies at York University. In her professional life Ellen was employed by Evyan Perfumes and rose to VP of Canadian Operations. A Mensa member who volunteered for numerous charitable community organizations. Ellen will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. A day of visitation and remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill.
