FITZGERALD, Donald Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on July 31, 2016 in his 88th year. Loving husband of Margaret “Mickey” (nee Dominko). Dear father of Jamie Whelan (Peter) and Lori Bulmer (Paul). Proud grandfather of Tara Whelan. Survived by his brother Jim Fitzgerald (Betty). Fondly remembered by his nephews, and niece. Predeceased by his sister Margaret Forbes. Don worked for United Car for 45 years and was President of his local 520 UE for years. In his younger years he rowed for Leander Boat Club. He loved to golf in the summer and bowl in the winter. At Don’s request cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home , 1774 King Street East, (at Kenilworth) on Friday August 5, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Private Inurnment. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. “I will always love you”
