FRANCESCO ALFINO With sadness, we announce the passing of Francesco on May 29, 2017 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 90. Cherished husband for 59 years to his beloved wife Adele. Adored father of Nicola (Mary) and proud nonno of Anthony. Predeceased by his brothers Enrico and Armando, Francesco will be missed by his nieces, nephews and their families. Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.), on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd., at Hwy. 27). In memory of Francesco, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
