FRANK FORMUSA It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Frank on August 7, 2016, at the age of 70. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Brenda of 45 years. Cherished father to Paul, Mark and Andrea (Tony). Proud Papa to Cruz, Sophia, Julianna and Emma. He will be greatly missed by his brother Sal and sister-in-law Josephine and all his extended family and friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Assunta. Frank was blessed with so many true friends who went to extra ordinary lengths to give him every support possible over the past four years. Frank was born in Termini, Italy and came to Canada in 1952. A Principal with the Toronto Catholic District School Board for 31 years, he was a caring and exceptional educator and leader who enjoyed working with staff, students and families. He was respected and loved by all who were privileged to know him. Special thanks to Dr. Noah Forman (North York General Hospital), Dr. Yoo- Joung Ko (Sunnybrook), Filomena Servidio-Italiano (Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada), Sharon McKnight, RN (CCAC) and the exceptional staff at Hill House Hospice. Family and friends will be received at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff R. E. (west of Bayview Ave.), from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday at 11:30 a.m. The final rite of committal and interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., Thornhill).
