Bing leaves behind his sister Florence (the late Don Cooper), brother-in-law Arthur Mitchell, sisters-in-law Grace (the late Stan Bojeski), Jackie, brother-in-law George and many nieces and nephews. Bing dedicatedly worked 44 years as a superintendent of International Harvester retiring in 1985. Our father’s faith was central in his life and as such will be remembered as a very active member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Hamilton. For many years after his retirement he volunteered at the parish church helping out where he could and gave generously with his carpentry skills, as well as several long lasting friendships with the priests of his parish. Bing had a passion for fishing Lake Erie at the family cottage in Long Point where he helped create many lasting memories for our family. After his love for God and his family, Bing’s lasting fidelity was to his dogs, in which he found great joy and friendship. A faithful and skillful Bridge player allowed him many afternoons and evenings with friends. Always a fond memory were his travels to Daytona Beach, Fla., where he enjoyed the long beaches and many attractions with his family. Bing was very grateful for Ken, he always thought highly of you and appreciated all you did and your kindness and care will never be forgotten. Finally, we wish to acknowledge Kate, Sr. Maria and all the staff at St. Elizabeth’s Village and CCAC, your support, kindness and compassion displayed for both our parents for the very short time Dad was with you is appreciated more than words can express.
