FRID, Patricia Helen (nee Kain) Graduate from the Hamilton General Hospital School of Nursing 1957. Passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Thursday, August 25, 2016 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Douglas Frid. Pat was the loving and devoted mother to Wayne. Pat and Doug were happily married for 59 years. After Doug’s retirement in 1992 they spent their remaining years at their summer cottage and then at their condominium in Muskoka. Pat will be forever remembered and missed by her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, her many cousins, nieces, nephews and by her extended family members. Pat was the beloved sister to Robert Kain and his wife Evelyn, Allen Kain, Dr. Brian Kain and his wife Dr. Elizabeth and Gary Kain and his wife Betty. Pat was predeceased by her daughter Wendy of Bracebridge and by her parents Betty and Lyle Kain of Hamilton. In keeping with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be any services held. Pat’s ashes will be interred with Doug’s at the Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton.
