CANDELORO, Gaetano Biagio It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Maria (Capretta). Loving father of Joseph and Denise and her husband Jim Colalillo. Nonno Gaetano will be sadly missed by his granddaughters Kennedy and Cassidy. Son of the late Giuseppe and the late Margherita Candeloro. Son-in-law of the late Alberto and the late Maria Capretta. Predeceased by his sisters Anna, Antonietta, and Rita Candeloro. Brother-in-law of Carmela and the late Nicola DiFranco, Elena and Carmine Capretta, Remo and Phyllis Capretta, and Valerio and Jackie Capretta. He will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the Hamilton Police, Fire Department, and paramedics for all of their efforts. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL 43 Barton St. E. (near James St.) on Tuesday, April 11, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis Xavier Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
