GALLAGHER, Judith Katherine Isabell (Childs) November 2, 1929 to July 29, 2016 Surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2016 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her loving husband James (2005) and her siblings. Beloved mother of Nancy (Harold), Jim (Patti), Debra (Ken), Darlene (David), Judy (Ken), George, Kim (Chris) and Michael (Lynda). She will be sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. She was the President of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Ann’s Parish. Judy loved to cook, garden, crochet and knit. All her grandchildren have a little piece of grandma with her knitted blankets and outfits. Special thanks go to Dr. Heller and her team, Dr. Shroeder and the team of nurses at the Juravinski Innovation Tower St. Joseph, Level 4, for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 7 East Avenue South, on Tuesday, August 2 ,2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Prayer Vigil at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be offered at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church (Barton St. E. at Sherman) on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow.
