GAZLEY, Leslie At Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville, on Monday, August 8, 2016, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Ann (Phoebe), deceased. Loving father of sons, Richard Gazley (Donna), Kenneth Gazley (Mieke), Robert Gazley (Marilyn) and daughter, Beverly Gilbert (Terry). Cherished grandfather of Leslie, Gregory, Shannon (Dan), Michael (Christina), Angela (Trevor), Jordan and Jasmine, and great-grandfather of 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by father, George Gazley and Annie Gazley and siblings George Gazley, Pearl Willis, Ruby Goyer and Edward Gazley. Survived by brother Raymond Gazley as well as many nieces and nephews. Leslie was a World War II Veteran who fought bravely for his country overseas from 1940 to 1945. Special thanks to Dr. Scallan and the nurses of the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville for all of their compassion and care; and to the doctors and nurses at the Welland General Hospital for their compassion and care. Leslie was a proud man who believed strongly in family and friendship. He is now at peace and has joined his beloved Ann. He will be truly missed. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date.
