HAUZMAN, George, Alexander Born in Domahida, Romania, May 23, 1923, George passed away in his sleep at the Juravinski Hospital on May 7, 2017, at the age of 93. He is predeceased by his wife, Gizella (2007) and leaves behind daughter Gizella Anna and son-in-law Antun Ferencevic. Proud grandfather of Thomas (Mariane), Andrew (Angela) and seven great-grandchildren. He had a love of fishing and George knew every bend, pool and riffle in the Saugeen River. Gardening was another of his passions and he would often share his bounty with family and neighbours. Friends and family are invited to join us for a celebration of George’s life which will take place at Liuna Station in Hamilton, on Saturday, June 3 at 11 a.m. A light lunch will follow. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Holy Sepulchre at a later date.
