BEDFORD, Gertrude Anne (nee Slade) —
Surrounded by the love of her family, Anne passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Ian Anderson House, Oakville at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Bill for 55 years. Cherished mom of Kim (Dave Mitchell), Keith and Kelly (Ed Sadlowski). Proud and loving grandma of John (Crystal), Cliff (Tamara), Ashley and Evan. Great-grandma of Alister and Penny. Anne will be sadly missed by her siblings Allan (Glenda), Fred (Debbie) and predeceased by Jean (Alan). Anne was the sister-in-law of Murray (Lenore), Alan (predeceased Ivy) and predeceased Sharon (Bob). Anne will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, many extended family and friends.
Friends will be welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Anne’s life at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (Dundas and 403) on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service.
