GIANGUALANO, Elda Violet (nee Ricci) Elda, loving wife of the late John Giangualano, passed away peacefully at The Willowgrove Long Term Care Residence on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in her 91st year. Elda is survived by her three children: Ralph (Marlene), Danny (Kathryn), and Paula (Mark) Penny. Lovingly remembered by her three granddaughters: Molly (Ryan), Hannah, and Charlotte, as well as her four grandsons: Paul (Luisa), Mark (Ashley), and the late Peter and Michael. “Grandma” to her four great-grandchildren: Ethan, Michaela, Emma, and Luna. Dear sister of the late Olga Bottan, Mano, and Victor Ricci. The Giangualano family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful caregivers and staff at The Willowgrove Long Term Care Residence, for their loving care and kindness. As a young girl growing up in the northern community of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Elda enjoyed music, and loved to dance. At Willowgrove, she could often be heard humming nostalgic tunes, or tapping her feet to familiar songs. She also had a wonderful sense of humour. Along with her quick wit and charismatic personality, Elda always had a warm smile for anyone and everyone. Elda was an angel on earth. In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private service has taken place. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington.
