GLORIA FLORENCE MORRIS Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Lakefield on Friday, June 24, 2016. Gloria (Shaw) of Buckhorn, formerly of Scarborough in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Sid Morris (2009). Daughter of the late Fred and Lillian Shaw. Loving mother of Karen and her husband Doug McKinnon of Port Hope, Dianne and her husband Murray Slote of Omemee and Garth of Toronto. Survived by her brothers Vincent and William Shaw and brother-in-law Hugh Simpson. Nan is remembered by Darryl (Nicole), Ryan, Amanda (Adam) and Faye (Brent). Loving Nanny of Jaxson, Juliette and Charlotte. Predeceased by her sister Corrine Simpson, brother Bryan and sister-in-law Barbara Shaw. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
