Roy Arnew GOODBRAND
GOODBRAND, Roy Arnew (June 25 1954) We are very sad to announce the sudden passing of our brother Roy, from cancer, on January 3, 2017 peacefully in the company of his family in Vancouver. Roy was very happy to have spent Christmas with his mother, Margaret of Burlington, Ontario; his daughter Lucy Curlee Robinson (Ian) and his grandsons, Isaac and Wyatt of St Louis, Missouri and his sister Janice of Burlington, Ontario. He was thrilled by the birth of his first granddaughter on December 7th, Harley Ray, and was able to share the joyous news by Skype with his daughter Ashley Chambers (Travis) of Escondido, California. Roy regretted not being able to have reached his son Colton of New Mexico. Roy is survived by his siblings: Annie Goodbrand and Laurie Triggs (David) of White Rock, Charles and Marlene of North Vancouver, Janice, Marne LaPlante (Kevin) of Port Moody, BC. He is predeceased by his father, Neil of Millgrove, Ontario and hoped to meet with him in heaven. He will be missed by his friends for his companionship, gardening skills and love of the outdoors. No service by request but ashes will be spread at the family cottage.
