GORDON (ANGUS) STARR May 24, 1941 – July 9, 2016 Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in his 76th year. Angus was born in Oro Township and is the son of the late Reginald and Thelma Starr (nee Carter). Beloved husband of 54 years to Joan Starr (nee Bennett). Loved father of David Starr and Kelly (Ian) Sutherland. Loving grandpa of Evan, Adria, Gabriel and Quinnton. Dear brother of Garnet (Joyce) Starr and predeceased by Earl Starr. Angus will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held at DRURY FUNERAL CENTRE, 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s United Church, 56 Victoria St. E., Alliston, on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery.
