It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of Grace Catherine Fryfogel as a result of a traffic accident on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at age 63. Beloved daughter of the late Jack and Jean Fryfogel of Perth County. For 35 years, the dearly beloved wife of Alex Packman and dear mother of A.J., John and Kate. Dear sister of Murray Fryfogel (Debbie), Joy Fryfogel (Bob Tomchick), Peter Fryfogel (Wendy), Ruth Hart (Alex) and Laura Fryfogel (Ian Frede), and sister-in-law of Robert Packman (Brenda). Fondly remembered by her mother-in-law Olive Packman. Grace is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Grace was a graduate of the St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Kitchener. She was a nurse in the Coronary Care Unit of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre until 1985. She has been working in the Cardiology Department at St. Michael’s Hospital since 1999. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Wednesday, October 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in LEASIDE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 670 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto on Thursday, October 27th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Grace’s favourite charity, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite #1300, Toronto, Ontario M4P 1E4.
