GRUBISICH, Bran March 3, 1929 – August 3, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bran on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at The Meadows, Ancaster in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Mary for 65 precious years. Adoring father of Brenda and her husband Ed Bradica. Cherished Papa to his greatest pride and joys Matthew and Andrew. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Jenny Grubisich. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of the late Ernesta and Nick Bosanac, Anne and the late Mauri Laine, Ann and the late Frank Zonka and the late Steve Zonka. Bran will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and countless friends. Bran was a proud Canadian, born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. He took on many challenges in his professional career and was known as a jack of all trades who could build anything. Bran had a heart of gold and a great love for his family and friends. He always had a positive attitude, even during his long struggle with cancer. Thank you to Dr. Andy DeRubeis and his staff and Dr. Kevin Piercey and his staff. A very special thank you to the caring and compassionate staff of The Meadows LTC. We want to thank all our family and friends who were there to support us during this very difficult year. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. East (near James St.) on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Augustine’s Church, 58 Sydenham St., Dundas on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) or the Salvation Army would be gratefully appreciated by the family. “I love ya”
