Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 83. Beloved husband to Wilma for 63 years. Loving father of Dan (Carey) and Laurie (Frank). Cherished Poppa of Leanne (Shaun), Darren and Amber (Mike). Great grandfather of Hannah and Jacob. Dear brother of Fran (Doug), Brian (Sherrie), Rick (Brenda) and the late Pauline and Fred. The family would like to thank Lakeridge Health Oshawa – Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, September 25th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to the Canadian Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
