HAVILL, Richard B. It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the passing of my father Richard B. Havill at the Hamilton General Hospital early the morning of Saturday, October 22, 2016, suddenly yet peacefully, surrounded by family. Richard Havill, beloved husband of the late Carol Havill (nee Long). Sadly missed by longtime companion Alice Creighton. Loving father to Jason and Rebecca, and Christine and Rob Campbell. Proud Grandpa of Charlotte. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Gail Dodgson (Tom) and Jane Dunham. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Birge and Ila Havill, brother Bradley, brother-in-law Dave Dunham and nephew Jeff Dodgson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation to honour Richard’s life will be held at JW Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St. East, Dunnville on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation or Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
