Lois Grace HAWKES (nee Benzie)
HAWKES, Lois Grace March 18, 1923 – November 11, 2016 Passed away peacefully in her 94th year, at The Village of Humber Heights in Etobicoke. Lois was the beloved wife of the late Fred Hawkes who predeceased her in 1976. Loving and devoted sister of the late Loreen Berriman (Ray). Cherished aunt of Lynn Bilic (the late Lou) and the late Jim Berriman (the late Lola). Special great-aunt of Tom Bilic, Mark Bilic (Van) and Gregory Berriman (Sian). Dear great-great-aunt of Selena and Casey Berriman. She will be missed by extended family and friends. Lois was a dedicated employee of Stelco for over 40 years. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 starting at 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
