HEDY CATHERINA SCAMBIA (nee HUBER) July 31, 1927 – August 29, 2016 The warm heart of a mother, the passionate soul of a painter, as spirited as a Viennese waltz, may she rest in peace. Loving wife to Saverio Scambia, her devoted husband of 61 years, cherished mother of Carmelitta Scambia and Andrina Pisotta, caring grandmother of Ariana, Ryan, Monica, Michael and Adrian. Hedy’s sweet heart finally gave out, but her spirit and memory will forever live on in the hearts and smiles of her husband, children, grandchildren and all those who love her, in the beauty of her water colours and in the stunning strength of her sculptures.
