HEIDI PANESAR On Saturday, June 25, 2016, Heidi Panesar (nee Laakko), Life partner, mother, daughter, sister and a dear friend passed away suddenly at the age of 58 years in Toronto, Ontario. Heidi was a loving mother to her precious daughters, Elina and Emilia and will be forever remembered by her partner Reuben Lynch and her daughters. Heidi was the beloved daughter of the late Esteri Pettinen and the late Osmo Laakko. Survived by the father of her children, Cole Panesar, her brother Markku and her sisters, Marita (Pekka) and Anita (Markku). Heidi will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Heidi was predeceased by her sisters Leena and Tuula (Reijo). Far and away Heidi’s greatest sense of pride and joy came from her role as the mother in helping her two girls Elina and Emilia grow up from sweet young girls to the accomplished women they are today. Heidi was very adventurous and had a great passion for travel which brought her many, many friends over the years. Her infectious laugh and sense of humour, combined with her zest for life, are what made people instantly like her and want to become her friend and are what we will always miss about her. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 9th at 11 a.m. at Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church, 25 Old York Mills Road (at Yonge and York Mills).
