Heinrich “Henry” ERNST
ERNST, Heinrich “Henry” Peacefully in his 85th year with family by his side on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Ernst was the loving husband of Maria, nee Jungbauer, for 57 years. Survived by his children Stella (Ken), Brian (Shelly); proud Opa of Jonathan (Amber), Karley and Annalee; Uropa to Nolan. Also survived by Brother Adolf (Elisabeth). Henry was predeceased by his siblings August (Berta), Josef (Margit), Zenta (Rudolph) and Laura (Luis). Henry immigrated to Canada in 1952 as an accomplished Cabinet Maker. After a 24 year career with Stelco. He then together with his brothers August and Adolf, successfully ran Baltic Bakery until retirement. Henry’s retired years found him enjoying his hobby farm, visiting family and traveling. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905-574-0405) on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30 p.m. followed by light lunch and refreshments.
