CHESLA, Helen (nee Wida) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Helen passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Loving mother of Paul (Irene), John (Fran) and Ken (the late Donna) (Doreen). Cherished Baba of Terri (Garrett), Diane (Henry), Brad, Jamie (Melany), Michelle, Robbie and Zak. Great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Helen Wida. Dear sister of Rose (the late Andy) and Katie (Mike). Dear sister-in-law of Joe (late Anne) Chesla and the late Joe (late Mary) Grohol. Helen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the nursing staff at The Wellington for their care and compassion. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James St. N) on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
