BAIN, Helen Jean, B.A. At St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas on Thursday, May 18, 2017, Helen Jean Bain (nee Peart) 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Keith Bain (October 9, 2013.) She is survived by her nephew Ian Macleod and niece Rev. Katie Campion (daughters Rebecca and Shannan), by Keith’s cousin Lee Hondronicols and husband Nathan (daughter Amy) and by other dear relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her dear sister and brother-in-law Margaret and John Macleod, and nephew Peter Campion and his son Kevin. After graduation from McMaster University in 1953, Helen began her career with the planning firm of Town Planning Consultants Ltd. Three years later she moved to the health field where she was employed for thirty years. Initially she was and economist with the Ontario Hospital Services Commission and finally a senior consultant with the Planning Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Health. Cremation has already taken place. At Helen’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service, but family members will receive relatives and friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, Ancaster, 905-648-3852 on Sunday, June 4th from 2-5 p.m. Interment to take place at the Municipal Cemetery in Chesley, Ontario at a later date.
