GILLMORE, Ingram Burhoe “Bing” —

May 9, 1923 – July 18, 2016

Peacefully at the Village of Erin Meadows, Bing Gillmore, beloved husband of Jean for 61 years. Loving dad and father-in-law to Rinn and Clare, Jane and Gord, Laura and Neil, Sheryl and Kevin, and John and Tara. Proud grandfather of Melissa, Sara and Matt Borutski, Tom and Carolyn Ridout, Kate, Eric and Andrea Zimmerman, Carly, Jessica, Emma and Cian Booth, Liam and Brendan Gillmore and great-grandfather to Logan and Autumn. We are all forever grateful for the gift of his life, time, and wisdom. Bing was born in Pickardville, Alberta; studied engineering at the University of Alberta, and worked for many years at Westinghouse; retiring in 1988 in Winnipeg and then moving to Mississauga in 2007. Predeceased by his parents, Isa and T. P. Gillmore, his brother John and sister Harley. Friends and family may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Thursday, July 21st from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church in Clarkson, 1700 Mazo Cres., Mississauga, on Friday, July 22nd at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Bing may be made to the Winnipeg Rotary Club (Downtown) or The Rotary Foundation (Canada).
