PICCOLO, IRENE HELEN October 4, 1924 – March 17, 2021 Irene Piccolo passed away peacefully, at her home, on March 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Philip Piccolo.
Irene was a very caring and dedicated mother to Steve (Barbara) Piccolo, Michael (Joanna, deceased) Piccolo, Lynn (Stan) Malecki and Philip (Lisa) Piccolo; grandmother to Lisa Maye and Michelle Piccolo-Dobbs; great-grandmother to Morgan and Kameron Maye, and Melody and Mason Piccolo-Dobbs.
She lived a very happy and joyful life, always surrounded by family and friends. She loved to laugh and tell jokes, and she always made everyone feel welcome in her home. We would like to thank her wonderful and attentive neighbours and her loving caregivers – we are so grateful for the compassion and love you gave to our mother. She will be missed by everyone who met her and our memories of her will live on forever.
A Celebration of Life is planned for a future date when we are able to gather in person. Contributions to the Humane Society (Irene loved all animals) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
