IRENE MABEL McNICKLE (nee POLLARD) Passed away peacefully with family by her bedside in Lindsay at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 4, 2016. Predeceased by her husband G.C. Gordon McNickle, her parents, five brothers and three sisters. She will be missed by her brother-in-law Jack McNickle (Audrey) and her children, Gary McNickle (Shirley), Janice Milligan (Tom) and Wayne McNickle (Margaret); her six grandchildren Tammy (Paul), Paul (Jen), Gordon (Julia), Brett (Lauren), Meaghan (Matt) and Jonathan (Caitlin) and her four great-grandchildren Beth, Rosalie, Amelia and Olivia. She will be truly missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families and her many friends. Thank you to the staff and residents at Country Estates for making her home a happy and caring place. The family wants to sincerely thank the doctors and nurses that took such wonderful care of Irene in the past week in the ER and on the third floor at the Ross Memorial Hospital. There will be a Memorial Reception to celebrate Irene’s life at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, on Saturday, November 12th from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice in memory of mom would be appreciated.
