GARD, Jack Laurence On Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, Jack Laurence Gard passed away with his family at his side in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Deanna (nee Laurie) (2007). Loved father of Randy, David, Rick (Debbie), and Jack Jr. (Tiffany). Proud grandfather of Gabriella, Joseph Jack, Payton, and Jordan. Survived by his brother Glenn and predeceased by his brother Warren. Jack will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Retired Staff Sergeant Jack Gard of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police which he served proudly for decades. Jack’s special brand of comedy was surpassed only by the love of his beloved Montreal Canadiens. A1 Dad. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 715 Centre Rd., Waterdown on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. Donations in memory of Jack can be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
