James H. Stewart (Stewie) born on June 2nd, 1933 in Picton, Ontario. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday February 28th, 2017 in his 84th year. James was a retired firefighter of 34 years with the Oshawa Fire Department. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marilyn (nee woodhouse). Loving father of James of B.C., Jeffrey (Heather) and Scott (Sara). Poppa to William, Jordan, Matthew, Mitchell, Scott, Sydney and Emily. In keeping with his wishes, Jim will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, March 3rd from 2 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or your charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
