TYSON, James Jackson (Jack) – May 22, 1936 – August 12, 2016 It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Tyson announces his passing on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Toronto East General Hospital, Toronto at the age of 80. Predeceased by his loving wife Jeannette (née Campbell). Loving father of Jim (Kim Canning), Rob (Paula Carty), Tom (Julia Hamilton) and Susanna (Mark Watson). Cherished grandfather of Eric, Anna, Naomi and Logan. Survived by brother David (Lorrie), brother- in-law Colin Campbell (Doreen), two nieces and one nephew. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Vera. Visitation will take place at HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE, 50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto, 416-423-1000 on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, followed by a reception. The interment will take place at St. John’s Norway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or The Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
