GILLAN, Jane (aka Jean) (nee Campbell) —
Passed away peacefully in her Residence room on November 6, 2016 (coincidentally also her 89th birthday) following an extended illness. Born in Lisburn, Northern Ireland in 1927 and immigrated to Canada at the age of 3 months with her parents. Predeceased by her brothers Norman (Nancy) and Ronald (Lynn) and survived by brother Gordon (Dorothy). Predeceased by her loving husband Adam Lind Gillan. Loving mother to son Doug (Susan) and daughter Janice. Loving Nanny to grandchildren Caitlin, Fraser and Molly Gillan and to Ryan, Paul, Michael and Leanne McMacken. Also the great-grandmother of 6. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding – south of Steeles Ave.). Interment will follow at York Cemetery.
