SNOW, Janet Suddenly yet peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife and best friend of Bill for 70 years. Dear mother of Tom Snow (Patsy) and Sally Marina Gillespie (Donald). Proud and loving grandma of John Snow (Chris), Major Robert Snow (Laura), McEwen Gillespie, William Gillespie (Susan) and great-grandma of Madeleine, Vivian and Byron. Predeceased by grandson Duncan Gillespie. Loving sister of Fraser Earle (Theresa), Bruce Earle (Barbara) and Doreen Mountford (Doug). Predeceased by brothers Gerald and Reuben Earle and sister Sally Moore. Sadly missed and always loved by many other dear family members and friends. Janet was a proud and dedicated member of St. Giles Altar Guild for many years. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. in Barrie on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of Janet’s life will take place the following day, Friday, August 25, at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church, 161 Hanmer St. West in Barrie starting at 1 p.m. Visitation from 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Barrie Union Cemetery. Following the burial, a reception will take place at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church.
