JANIS (JOHN) LAIMONIS GOBA December 10, 2016 Passed away peacefully after a long illness at the age of 93 on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Milton District Hospital. Dearly loved and missed by his wife of almost 69 years Rita, by his sons Norman (Mara) and Edgar (Heather), his grandchildren Kyle (Tipheny), Meghan (Maris) and Shawna (Spencer) and great- grandchildren Bridgette, Quinn, Adam and Ellis. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre, 4 Credit Union Dr., Toronto, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre (www.latviancentre.org) or St. Andrew’s Lutheran Latvian Church in Toronto (www.standrewslatvian.org). –
