It is with profound sadness that we announce Jeff’s sudden, but peaceful passing on June 20, 2016 in his 60th year at his favourite place on earth, his cottage. Beloved son of Roy and Jenny (deceased). Kid brother of Jack (Carol) and Jerry (Iris). Uncle Boge will be sadly missed by Christine (Geoff), John (Lianne), Mary, Dan and Anna and their families. Jeff will be fondly remembered by his many friends, former students, and colleagues. He was a dedicated teacher and musician, who influenced many lives beyond the music he taught. His passion for people, music, learning, travel and athletics will be carried on in the hearts of everyone he touched. Jeff was a giver, not a taker.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Condolences www.rskane.ca
