JESSIE HELEN SEMPLE Passed peacefully in her sleep on July 23, 2016 at the age of 92, in Belleville, Ontario. Jessie was born the eldest of 5 children to Gavin and Mary Semple, in Strathaven, Scotland. They came to Canada when Jessie Helen was a baby. The family lived for many years in the beaches area of Toronto. Jessie enjoyed a lengthy career with General Motors, of which she was very proud. After her retirement, Jessie moved to Bobcaygeon, where she lived for close to 20 years. During this time Jessie wrote books of poetry mostly relating to stories of her past. Jessie will be deeply missed by her sisters, Mary, Jean and Rena, her many nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law, Valerie (wife of her late brother, Bill), as well as her cousin, Jack King and his wife, Paulette and the entire Semple clan in Regina, Saskatchewan. Jessie will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Scarborough, Ontario
