HUNT, John G. (Jack) Passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Marilyn for 57 years. Loving father of John, Dale (Danna) and Neil (Kim). Brother to Norm (Mona), Sharlene and the late Ken (Joan). John had 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who were the joy of his later years. John started working at The Toronto Golf Club in the 1940s and was the Head Professional from 1959 until 1990. Working there was the only job he ever knew and golf and the Club were his greatest loves beyond his family. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
