John Angus “Gus” MacLENNAN
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Angus MacLennan, on Friday, March 17, 2017 with family by his side. Angus was born on November 7, 1928 in Dunvegan, NS. The son of Roderick Rory Archie and Katie (nee MacDougall) MacLennan. Devoted father to Michelle (Eric) of Nanaimo, BC and dear friend of Glenna Cooke, her children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Angus was predeceased by his sisters Margaret, Mary Jessie, Betty, Teresa, Lexina; brothers Fr. Alex and Hughie. Angus, his parents and his brothers and sisters were all very devoted to their faith. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
