MORRITT, John – On Tuesday, March 21, 2017 after a wonderful life. John passed away at home at the age of 91, with his beloved wife of 47 years, Susan Rowland, by his side. He was “Zaidy John” to Bailey and Vanessa Kay, Michael Hendriks, Meghan, David, Amy, and Sarah Badun, and will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Michael Rowland, his nephew Michael Rowland and his partner Vero Tremblay, and Adrian and Anso Rowland of Switzerland. John was a retired antique dealer, award-winning dog breeder, and world traveller. He was a brave WWII Veteran, and proud Canadian, and a consummate mensch. He will be sorely missed by his family, and his loyal friends, including David and Karen Mock. At Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue W., (three lights west of Dufferin) for service on Friday, March 24th at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Holy Blossom Memorial Park.
