JONATHAN REGINALD ANDREW DAVIES May 15, 1961 – June 23, 2016 Born in Lachine, Quebec, the son of Christopher and Hélène Davies (deceased), he is survived by his sister (Angélique Davies), his partner (Alison Reid), his son and daughter (Owyn and Dylyn), family in Quebec (Lucille and Keith Bridger) and Britain (Marigold, Geoffrey, Rosie, Simon, Edward – the Bests – and Melanie Lawrence). A graduate of the University of Toronto, Jonathan worked for the Canada Employment and Immigration Commission, before pursuing his dream of screenplay writing. While in university he explored acting and also collaborated in a production of Julius Caesar. Since childhood he played guitar, forming various school bands. Jonathan was a gifted drummer who performed locally and abroad in the 80s with Kinetic Ideals. A creative spirit, ever reaching for the stars, Jonathan will be missed by his family and the many friends who loved him.
