JOSEF LORENZ It is with the greatest sorrow we announce that our beloved father, and Opa, Josef Lorenz, 88, passed away June 28, 2016. Josef was born in Hirschau, West Germany. Josef is survived by his son Anton Lorenz, his granddaughter Cassandra Lorenz, his brother Karl Lorenz in Germany, sister-in-law Margaret Matejka including their children – Josef’s nieces and nephews and their children – Brigitte, Ross, Geoffery and Steven Cool and Frank, Mary-Jo, Todd, Justin, Cassandra, Easton and Charlotte Matejka and Karoline, Duncan, Breanne and Kyle McCallum. A memorial service will be held at McDougall & Brown – Funeral Home – 2900 Kingston Road, at St. Clair Avenue in Scarborough, on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior from 9 – 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the funeral home. In lieu of donations, flowers would be appreciated.
