JOSEPH IACONO Passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 18, 2016. Beloved husband of Florence for 58 years. Loving father of Julia (Eric Hauser), Anne (Roger Quesnel) and Nancy (Frank Spaziani). Adored by his grandchildren Adrian, Nicola, Naomi, Julian, James and Francesca. Predeceased by his daughter Mary Nancy and granddaughter Juliet. Survived by his sister Frances (Sam Lima) and sisters-in-law Pina and Frances. Predeceased by his sister Jenny (John Giummarra) and brothers Frank and Lawrence. A special thank you to the excellent care provided to Joseph by the second floor staff at The Marleigh Retirement Residence. Resting at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham (4 lights north of Hwy. 7), 905-305-8508. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, June 27th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Justin Martyr Parish (3898 Hwy. 7 E., Markham). Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. In Joseph’s memory, donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children.
