Peacefully, on Monday, December 26, 2016, at Sunnybrook Veterans L Wing, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Jean. Cherished father of Joan Brook and her husband Peter. Adored grandfather of Rebecca Thompson (Tony) and James (Christine) and great-grandfather to Brook, Libby and Emmy. Dear brother of Jack (Nancy) and the late Matthew (Olga), Frank (Mary) and Barbara (Ivan). Visitation at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
