Passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 78. Beloved husband to Jill. Much loved father to the late Hardy (Melanie), Brian (Kathy) and Wendy (James). Cherished grandfather of Kurt, Ryan, Emily, Brittany and Quinton. A special thanks to George’s caregivers. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, April 1st from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Durham Region would be appreciated.
