KATHLEEN LECKEY April 9, 1930 – April 18, 2017 Surrounded by her loving family, Kathleen passed peacefully to our Lord at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Patrick and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Gerard (Liliane), Jim (Diane), Patrick (Barb), Sean (Jeannette) and Anne Marie (Chris) and grandchildren James (Heather), Paul, Kimberly, Angela, Ryan, Brendan, Christina, Kayleighna, Noah and Nicole and great-grandchildren Peyton and Harper. Kathleen will be lovingly missed by her brother Kevin McGillian (USA) and her many family and friends in Canada, Ireland and the USA. Many thanks to the staff of the ICU at Scarborough General Hospital who compassionately took care of our Mom. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the McDOUGALL & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair). A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26th at St. Theresa’s Shrine of the Little Flower, 2559 Kingston Rd. (at Midland Ave.). Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
