Caring grandfather to Carmen (Scott) and Haley. Adored great-grandfather to Estelle and Ember. Friends will be received on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke (Highway 27 and Albion Road), from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Memorial Service will commence at 12 p.m. in the Glendale Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
